hello! my life sucks! all the good things i gained last year is fading fast... i dunno i think I'm jinxed... I'm back in my lame life again... well lets look at the bright side... is there any? yes family.... no matter how long is your journey family is still there no matter what... cliche isn't it?

but for now I'm still waiting for my hero... but i guess that's me... my own works to save my life..

'Andong Agimat' to the US film mart

MANILA, Philippines -- Unitel head Tony Gloria has a new baby.

"This is my pet project," he says of "Ang Mundo ni Andong Agimat," a popular graphic novel by prize-winning author/illustrator Arnold Arre.

Gloria has acquired the rights to "Andong," which he plans to produce into either a feature film or a TV series. Or both.

"It can start as a feature film and we can later turn it into a TV series," he says.

For the role of Andong, Gloria is eyeing Robin Padilla.

"He's not your typical hero. Andong's a loner and an ex-convict," he explains.

Unitel is preparing an audio-visual presentation on "Andong," which Gloria will screen at the American Film Market, running from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7 in Santa Monica, California.

It's Unitel's fourth time in the US film mart. "We scanned and colorized the storyboards. We edited and set the footage to music. We also gave it a 3-D title," he says.

He hopes to attract investors—to finance or to co-produce—with the "Andong" teaser.

Gloria admits that producing "Andong" is expensive.

"You can't do it with P20 million. If I had P50 million that would be ideal. But I can make it with P30 million to P35 million," he says.

Feedback from the film mart will decide whether "Andong" will be a film or a TV series.

Gloria is bullish about its prospects abroad. "It's different. Very Asian."

Which was what attracted Gloria to the graphic novel.

"I wanted an original Pinoy hero."

It also combines the mythical with the historical, he says. "In the story, Maria Makiling is in love with a Katipunero (revolutionary). I am thinking of shooting in Old Manila — Quiapo, Binondo and Intramuros."

Gloria plans to use Unitel's latest Sony HR 444 high-definition camera in shooting "Andong." "It has the highest resolution. HD cameras were used in Hollywood movies like 'Superman Returns' and 'Zodiac.'"

He envisions "Andong" as a "showcase" of the capabilities of Unitel's post-production arm, Optima.

"Optima has the latest computer software for an effects-laden film like 'Andong,'" he says.

Unitel is also bringing to the film mart its finished films—Ato Bautista's "Blackout" and Pablo Biglang-Awa and Veronica Velasco's "Inang Yaya." Also, three other indie movies—Sockie Fernandez's "Gulong," Jay Abello's "Ligaw Liham" and Neal "Buboy" Tan's "Ataul for Rent."

i have a few facts about our mothers day!

Movie Review: iron man

i entered the theater with out much expectations or any anticipation. and what i get was a very exiting and intelligent film, Robert Downy did a good job rendering his character, his acting is good and realistic, this movie made a big leap among other superhero movies, and now its iron man's season, and it became a hit to many, while watching his flight scenes, my eyes got teary, and my heart is jumping with joy! while saying to myself " i wish there's such a suit in the real word"

its not dull, this movie has a complex balance of comedy, drama, action, and sci fi,

this role dares the private parts of marian rivera, there are some shots that her boobies were blurred/censored but the blur effect didn't conceal the color of her nipples! i dont think she's wearing any skin tone tights, if ever shes wearing one, I dont care! she's still half naked!

Richard g. signed up for a one picture deal with star cinema. it will be a love story with kc concepcion, also, it was said that richard and kc team-up is one of the most requested team up for kc. it was supposed to be a co-production movie with GMA films. but then gma made an agreement that starcinema will make counter deal for gma. does that mean that kc or a star from abs-cbn will also be working in gma films? lets just wait for more information for that! but my idea is the Piolo & marian team-up.

COOL STUFF: silent hill house

lately, im having thought that it would be nice to have a a house that looks like silent hill. yes silent hill. its a hunted town that looks really really old! i know its weird! but if your a gamer you will certainly understand me! i will also like to build a hell-like silent hill, its a place full of rust and blood and the walls and floors are parallel wires! damn that would be sooo nice!! i grew playing that game thats why experiencing it in real world is my fantasy! i will also buy a fogging machine!XD

TV REVIEW: dyesebel

aye!! this is my first review! and its dyesebel in da houz! ok! first of all some might say that its a rip -off of the little mermaid! well.. yes a lil'bit! but come to think of it! its how the original story goes.. we just cant help it compare the two! heres the similarities between the two:

1. the mermaid fell in love w/ a legged man
2. they both have fins (what! hindi halata!)
3. there is a fictional sea kingdom.
4. the theme song!

WHY DYESEBEL IS A MUST WATCH?
1. they thought that dyesebel has a tail because her mother always look at the 1990 calendar with a mermaid. its cool coz' its how the original story goes way back in comics era.
2.the under water scenes are spectacular! very colorful, its in koron palawan.
3. well! here's why i watch dyesebel! topless Marian Rivera! oh so hot! or even if she's just wearing a skin-tone. she's still hot in it!!
4. their tails are silicon and not rubber! and no zippers
5. im still waiting for Rufa Mae's role! remember when did the marinara? i liked it!!
6. its will raise a environmental awareness.

i know kapamilya goers might say marina did it before.. well i'll just say not as good as dyesebel! The story of Mars Ravelo’s Dyesebel begins when human Lucia (Jean Garcia) delivers a beautiful, yet unusual, baby girl; unusual because, unlike normal babies, Lucia’s child is born with fins for legs. The child is called Dyesebel. And although surprised by their daughter’s strange form, Lucia and her husband Tonio (Wendell Ramos) promises to love their child no matter what. But in no time at all, their neighbors discover the couple’s secret. And when the community is hit with a series of catastrophes, the town believes that the anomaly that is Dyesebel is to blame; an accusation that leads Lucia to offer her only daughter to the sea, where she would fit better. Unknown to Lucia, it is at the heart of the sea that Dyesebel’s adventures and misfortunes will begin, and that it is within the confines of the waters that Dyesebel will lead a new life, a journey that would take her the depths of the sea, as well as the chaos of the city.

what i didnt like about dyesebel is their kingdom, coz' if they're inside the kingdom they emphazize that they are in water well obviously not. if i were the creative consultant i would suggest that inside their crib is a vacuum space so that water cant enter, because their human part needs also a rest from water!.
